Wild plants gallery
In this gallery are presented plants which are indigenous (or naturalized) in North Italy. All the plants in photo are cultivated.
Some of these plants are rare aquatic plants (e.g. Wolffia arhiza, Salvinia natans), while others grow in cultivated fields, and some of them are very close to extinction in Italy (as Agrostemma githago).
There are also plants which grow in coastal sites (like Eryngium marinum), and plants common in woods (e.g. Digitalis lutea).
One aquatic plant, Aldrovanda vesiculosa, is considered probably extinct in Italy. The Aldrovandas which I cultivate are from Poland, where this species still exsists.
